| Diopside is a rock-forming mineral, associated with plagioclase, grossular and epidote, that occurs in metamorphic deposits of copper and chromium. Well formed crystals are relatively rare, especially gemmy green chrome diopside crystals. These diopside crystals are of exceptional quality, and come from Afghanistan. Please see our individual diopside retail mineral specimens for specific details. |
